THE FOUNDATION FOR THE CONCEPT
THE PROBLEM:
- Global North dumping excess textile waste in Global South countries, which adds to pollution
- Consumerism & the media
THE SOLUTION:
- Justice-led circular economy by incorporating all textile "waste" such as trimmings and scraps into the collection
- Upcycling white button down dress shirts and dyeing them blue (turning blue collar to while collar) with sun prints of feminine lace and undergarments
