This virtual, true-to-life garment collection, created with CLO-3D (a no-fabric waste design method), draws inspiration from the dynamic lifestyles of individuals on the go in vibrant yet dark urban environments. Developed using architectural design principles and crafted with naturally dyed regional fibers, this collection, once sewn, will showcase a commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship.
THE FOUNDATION FOR THE CONCEPT
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN:
The foundational shapes for the silhouettes in this collection came from the architectural designs of Frank Gehry. Gehry's influence, rooted in Dadaism and Cubism, will be translated into the selection of textiles and colors.
